- Weather - Antarctica is extremely cold, windy, and dry. Summer (Nov–Mar) temperatures range from about -5°C to 5°C, but wind chill can make it feel much colder. Dressing: Wear thermal inner layers, fleece or wool mid-layers, and a waterproof, windproof outer jacket and pants.
