Thekkady Gavi Kambam
Board your bus to Thekkady from the respective boarding points. We will have our breakfast and lunch on the way. On reaching Thekkady and proceed for Periyar Boat ride. Periyar, named after Kerala’s longest river. Spend the evening soaking up the sounds of nature during your boat ride along the dense forest trails, learning about the endemic flora and fauna, as Banyan, Teak and Bamboo trees provide a serene backdrop for a lesson in Kerala wildlife. You may be able to see herds of wild elephant and bison seeking to quench their thirst along the quiet shores of Periyar Lake. Or keep a keen eye out for hornbills, flycatchers and kites - some of the many species of local and migratory birds that flock to this pristine sanctuary. Later Visit spice plantation and proceed to Resort & Check in. You’ll enjoy buffet dinner at Resort.-

Today early morning starts your adventures trip to Gavi. This is one of the most popular programmes in Thekkady. The jeep safari to Gavi, picturesque land, is the major off the track destination ideal for a wilderness retreat replete with trekking, birding, canoeing and facilities. This biological garden, with hills and valleys, tropical forests, sprawling grass lands, sholas, cascading waterfalls and cardamom plantation, is home for many endangered species like lion tailed macaque; nilgiri tahrs etc. On arrival at Gavi we will have our breakfast. Trekking through forest under trained Guide. We will have our lunch on return. Later proceed for boating in Gavi Lake (rowboat), visit cardamom plantations and curing house. Later we will have tea and return to the hotel. Buffet dinner at the Resort.-

After breakfast check out and proceed for the Jeep ride to Kambam is a town in the Theni district of Tamil Nadu, India, near the Kerala state border, famous for its fertile valley and grape cultivation. On arrival at Kambam proceede to visit Vegetable plantations and Grape orchards. Lunch at restaurant ,Later proceed back to hometown.-

Post breakfast checkout from hotel and visit Sabarmati Riverfront, Sabarmati Ashram. Later transfer to Vadodara. On arrival at Vadodara heck in at the hotel and overnight stay.Post breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to visit Statue of Unity. Later drive to Bhavnagar. On arrival at Bhavnagar visit Nishkalank temple ( Subject to Tidal conditions ) Later check in at the hotel and overnight stay.Post breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to GIR Devaliya Safari Park. On arrival proceed for a wild safari in an open Jeep. During the Jeep Safari, you can see various animal such as Sambar, WildBoar, Chital, Nilgai, Chinkara, Four horned Antelope and so on. After Safari transfer to Somnath. On arrival at Somnath check in at the hotel and overnight stay.Post breakfast check out from hotel and visit Somnath Temple. Later visit Bal Ka Theerth and Triveni Sangam. Later transfer to Dwarka. Enroute visit Kirti mandir at Porbandar, the place where Gandhiji was born. Post sightseeing drive to Dwarka and on arrival check in at hotel and overnight stay.Post breakfast checkout from hotel and visit Dwarkadhish Temple and Beyt Dwarka. Later visit Rukmini devi temple. Late evening transfer to Jamnagar railway station to board your train back to your home town.Relax and enjoy your onward train journey as you travel through the diverse landscapes of India. - Reservations - Reservation could be made through mail, fax or phone clearly stating the services required. We take the undertaking process of these reservations and duly confirm the arrangements.
- Payment Terms - The advance payment will be Rs 5,000 per pax and balance payment 30 days before departure. All bookings within 30 days of departure will be against full payment.
Terms & Conditions
- The company reserves the right to postpone or cancel any of the tours advertised, without assigning anyreason. In that case, money paid by the tour participant will be fully refunded but no compensation claim will be entertained.
- Due to certain unavoidable circumstances like, bad weather or unforeseen circumstances, premature cancellations or no show will be entirely to the customer account and no claim / refund for the same shall be accepted.
- Company reserves the right to change / modify / vary and alter the tour itinerary if it becomes necessary. In such changes, compensations or claiming of refunds by the tourist will not be entertained by the Company for limitation and also for the nonavailability of certain services including museums, restaurants, sightseeing shopping etc. even though included in tour itinerary.
- For Single passengers, without family, you will share a room either on a twin or triple sharing basis (Roll away bed) depending on the booking. If we do not have another single person, then a single supplement with an additional cost will be applicable.
- The tariff of the tour quoted is calculated as per the rates prevailing at the time of quoting it. The Company reserves the right to change the tariff in the event of modification / alteration / change / variation in the said rates before the date of departure.
- Tour tariff is based on departure from Cochin, unless specifically mentioned. Tourists boarding flights at places other than Cochin have to pay the entire airfare difference and bear and pay any other additional expenses including airport transfers, hotel stay etc. on that account.
- Tour cost is based on a minimum 20, 25 or 30 passengers travelling together in the group. If there is a drastic fall in the number, then the offered meal plan, vehicle and other services may change accordingly. cancellation policy terms and conditions.
- As a Travel House / Tour Operators, the Bestination Holidays does not have any control over Airlines, Railways, Coach Companies, Shipping Companies, Hotels, Local Transport or any other facilities, provided by the third parties. The company is not responsible for the delays or deficiencies in the services provided by outside agencies. Also please note that the company does not have any control on schedules of opening and closing timings of the tourist attractions.
- In the computerized reservation system of Indian Railways/Airlines, the berths / seats once reserved cannot be changed. Tour participants will have to travel by the same berth/seat as mentioned in the ticket, issued by Indian Railways/Airline.
- Tour participants are requested to collect their Railway / Air tickets from the respective offices of Bestination Holidays, only after making the full payment, from where they have booked their tour. No tickets will be sent by courier.
- Company shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting directly or indirectly- from any act of dangers, fire accident breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikers, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemic, medical or custom department regulations, defaults or any other causes.
