Day 1: Kochi - Nashik ( Flight ) Arrival

Morning assembles at Cochin International Airport. Meet your tour manager and co travellers. Proceed to board the flight to Nashik. On arrival at Nashik proceed for check in to hotel. Later proceed to visit Trimbakeshwar Temple. Evening back to hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Nashik.

Day 2: Nashik - Aurangabad (180 kms / 4 Hrs)

Post breakfast checkout and transfer to Aurangabad. On arrival at Aurangabad visit Daulatabad Fort. Later Bibi Ka Maqbara often called the ‘Mini Taj Mahal’ due to its resemblance to the Taj Mahal. Later check in at hotel and overnight stay at Aurangabad.

Day 3: Ajanta Caves ( Sightseeing )

Post breakfast proceed for full-day excursion to the Ajanta Caves. TheseBuddhist cave temples, some dating back to the 2nd century BC, are a treasure trove of Buddhist art in India, encompassing both Theravada and Mahayana traditions. Carved into a horseshoeshaped cliff, the caves served as prayer halls (chaitya grihas) and monasteries (viharas) for about nine centuries before being abandoned. The Mahayana caves are adorned with vibrant murals and statues depicting the life of Buddha and various Bodhisattvas, as well as scenes from everyday life, interwoven with images of flora and fauna. Later return back to hotel and overnight stay at Aurangabad.

Day 4: Ellora Caves, Pune to Kochi ( Flight ) Departure

Post breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed for a half day excursion to the Ellora Caves. Carved out of the Charanandri hills between the 6th and 10th centuries, Ellora Caves include 34 monasteries and temples, showcasing the coexistence of Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism. The Kailash Temple in cave 16 is particularly notable, an architectural marvel that involved the removal of 250,000 tons of rock and took 100 years to complete. Later transfer to Pune Airport to board the flight back to home town.
